Our client is a fantastic, successful and award winning full service digital agency who are consistently growing. Within their technical division a new position has arisen for a Middleweight or Senior UX Consultant (will consider all levels) to join this internal team. You’ll be embracing current UX practices and aware of industry trends; you’ll need to have experience of delivering all core UX deliverables from designing and delivering user research to wireframes, sitemap, interactive design, information architecture and pitch concepts.
What You Need
•3+ years’ experience in UX.
•Knowledge of best practice, but more importantly up to date with upcoming digital trends.
•Proactive and passionate about User Experience.
•Detailed knowledge and extensive practical experience of user centred design processes delivered in a commercial environment.
•Evidence of extensive experience in creating the appropriate UX methodology and practices including heuristic reviews, usability testing, user research, information architecture and interaction design.
•Delivery of all related deliverables including sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, specifications, content audits and competitor and user analysis.
•Experience of current tools and methodologies from Axure to Agile.
•Understanding of web analytics and business metrics, and their constructive use in the UX/ design process.
•Comfortable presenting to clients and running workshops.
•User and business requirements elicitation and workshop techniques.
•Lots of experience and knowledge of responsive design.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Comfortable working on pitches.
•Forward thinking and creative with UX
•Experience in supporting Junior UXers (ideally).
•Experience working in an agency (or at the very least, a marketing led team environment)
Desirable
•A background and ideally degree level training in UX, Design (e.g. Product/Service/Interaction) or other relevant topics e.g. Psychology.
•Experience of working with developers in an agile environment.
•Experience of working on products with a transactional/ e-commerce components.
Salary is purely dependent on skills and experience - middleweight and senior candidates will be considered and remuneration will reflect this.
