Logistics Technical Manager

Our client is a major EU Logistics brand, due to expansion they require a Logistics Technical Manager to manage the Technical elements of their Contract Relationships. You will be responsible for optimising performance of the technical intralogistics systems provider and systems (highly automated, cutting-edge conveyor solutions with an associated range of hardware, software, communications, electrical and mechanical technologies).

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of the technical intralogistics systems in coordination with the Technical and Logistics service providers
• Monitoring and governance of incidents, problems and change to drive down error rate and improve performance and efficiency
• Drive and monitor continuous improvement to ensure that the service providers are performing according to the agreed SLA’s and KPI’s via reporting, action tracking and auditing processes
• Ensure a successful ramp-up, reliability and availability of the technical intralogistics systems 
• Management of the contract between client’s technical service provider and logistic provider
