Bid(s) and Estimates Manager/Integrated systems leader for Quotes

Our client is launching a new Electrical and Lighting system product in the UK. We need people with Bids and estimates experience for a technical system, ideally electrical or lighting. You will manage the commercial quotation team to deliver an accurate, reliable, competitive and responsive design and quotations service to our customers and sales team.

Responsibilities

Manage the team and distribute the workload to following:

1.    System design, gain a thorough understanding of the project’s requirements and design lighting control solutions which will comply with the specification (25%)

2.    Managing the delivery of Estimation from drawings and specification (25%)

3.    Calculation of commissioning and liaison with Field service group (10%)

4.    Work closely with the service team in India to deliver key quotation components (10%)

5.    Work closely with the sale steam to ensure the quotes have a strong conversation rate (10%)

6.    Line management, performance coaching, reviews and day to day management (10%)

7.    Management reporting (10%)

Qualifications

1.    Electronic engineering degree

2.    Minimum 2 years’ experience working experience as a Estimations or Bid Manager

3.    Additional European language beneficial

4.    Team player, able to motivate the others

5.    Competitive nature desire to win business

6.    Driven by a desire to provide great service to others

7.    High attention to details

8.    Able to multi task and work in a very stressful environment

9.    Able to deal with customers in different cultures and countries
